What we do for you

Each engagement starts with a diagnosis. We identify the two or three changes that will make the biggest difference, then help you execute them.

Operational review

We map your workflows end to end, interview key staff, and pinpoint where time and money leak out. Most clients discover at least one process that costs twice what it should. Our review takes four to six weeks and ends with a prioritised action list, not a 90-page slide deck.

Financial restructuring

Cash flow problems rarely fix themselves. We renegotiate supplier terms, restructure debt schedules and redesign pricing models. One manufacturing client in Swansea reduced debtor days from 62 to 34 within three months of implementing our recommendations.

Growth strategy

Expanding into new markets or launching a product line requires more than ambition. We build financial models, assess market size using real data, and create go-to-market plans with concrete milestones. You know exactly what to spend and when to expect returns.

Leadership and team development

Senior teams that communicate poorly waste everyone's time. We facilitate structured workshops, establish decision-making frameworks and coach managers individually. The goal is a leadership group that resolves disagreements faster and delegates with confidence.

Real outcomes, not promises

A logistics company near Cardiff asked us to reduce fulfilment costs without cutting staff. We redesigned their picking routes, consolidated two shifts into a staggered model, and renegotiated their packaging supplier contract.

Within five months their cost per order dropped 18%. Staff overtime fell by a third. The changes stuck because the people doing the work helped design them.

  • 18% reduction in cost per order
  • Overtime hours down 33%
  • Zero redundancies required
  • Payback on consulting fees in under 10 weeks

How an engagement works

We keep things simple. Four stages, clear handoffs, no surprises on the invoice.

Discovery call

A 30-minute conversation where you describe the problem. We ask direct questions about revenue, margins, team size and timeline. If we think we can help, we send a one-page proposal within 48 hours.

Diagnostic phase

Two to four weeks on-site or remote. We review financials, observe operations, and interview staff at every level. The output is a short report with ranked recommendations and estimated impact for each one.

Implementation support

We stay involved while changes are made. Weekly check-ins, hands-on help with supplier negotiations or system changes, and troubleshooting when things do not go as planned. This phase typically lasts eight to twelve weeks.

Review and handover

A final session where we measure results against the original targets, document what worked, and leave you with a maintenance checklist so progress continues after we step away.

Questions we hear often

How much does a typical engagement cost?

Most projects fall between £8,000 and £35,000 depending on scope and duration. We quote a fixed fee after the discovery call so there are no hourly surprises. For smaller firms we offer a condensed diagnostic at £4,500.

Do you work with businesses outside Wales?

Yes. About 40% of our clients are based elsewhere in the UK. We handle remote engagements well, though we prefer at least one or two on-site visits during the diagnostic phase. Travel costs within England and Wales are included in our fee.

What industries do you specialise in?

Manufacturing, logistics, professional services and retail make up most of our portfolio. We have also completed projects in hospitality and construction. If your sector is outside that list, the discovery call will quickly tell us whether our methods apply.

How soon can we start?

We usually have capacity to begin a new project within two to three weeks of signing the proposal. Urgent situations can sometimes be accommodated faster if we shift resource from a project in its review phase.

Will you replace our existing management team?

No. We work with your people, not around them. The whole point is to build capability inside your organisation so improvements last long after our engagement ends. If we identify a skills gap, we recommend training or targeted hiring rather than wholesale changes.
